September 1678

As they continued, on September 1st, 1678, they left Isle Percee. As they traveled up the Saint Lawrence River, the most dangerous part of the voyage was at Pointe-aux-Alouettes, Tadoussac, and Isle Rouge, near the mouth of Riviere Saguenay.

On September 13th or 15th, 1678, they arrived in Quebec to pay their respects to the Governor of New France, Comte de Frontenac, and the high-ranking official, Sieur Duchesneau. They stayed in Quebec to recover from the long journey from France.
