Studio portrait of two women wearing (stroud cloth?) dresses, one with elaborate ribbonwork on her sleeves, with beaded panels at the neckline, and multiple necklaces. Both wear beaded moccasins; woman on L wears embroidered or beaded leggings and woven sash and appears to have face painting. Woman on R is seated, making lace on pillow positioned on chair, with other examples of lacework behind her. Probably participants at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair: The Louisiana Purchase Exposition.
