John Johnston Letter to the Literary Voyager Editor January 27th 1827

The Literary Voyager (Muzzeniegun) was a publication by the Schoolcraft's written from 1826-27. It included poetry written by both the Schoolcrafts and their friends as well as oral histories and legends of the Ojibwe people in Northern Michigan. Many of Jane Johnston Schoolcraft's poems and writings were published in The Literary Voyager under her own name as well as aliases such as Leelinau and Rosa.
