Indian Children

Wide-ranging subjects include studio and informal portraits of individuals and groups in native dress, mothers and children, old men and women, wickiups and other structures, "medicine men," women making baskets, a group of men in feather headdresses in an automobile, families, Ojibwa "Chief Caupolican"(?) and canoe, Shinnecock woman "Aunt Becky Kellis", and a delegation(?) portrait. Not all tribes are identified; those which are include Fox, Seneca, Ojibwa (Chippewa), Potawatomi, Iroquois, Shinnecock, and "Musquakie," i.e. Fox Indians.
