This document contains a copy of the original 1864 annuity payment roll for the Chippewas of Saginaw bands of Michigan along with an index of the transcribed names. Annuity payment was carried out by Dewitt C. Leach U.S. Indian Agent, made under provisions of the Treaty of Detroit, August 2, 1855. 

Original annuity payment roll is from the National Archives Microfilm series M234, Letters Received by the Office of
Indian Affairs, 1824-80, roll 407, NARA  D.C
